Sir Alex Ferguson has categorically stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is not leaving Manchester United.
The Portuguese winger has been the subject of much speculation with Spanish giants Real Madrid reportedly ready to dangle a £35million carrot in front of The Red Devils.
Ex-United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy also revealed Real would welcome the former Sporting ace with open arms at Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Ferguson has now stepped in and stated the Premiership titans are not even thinking about cashing in on the 21-year-old.
"We sell players we want to sell and there is absolutely no way Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving," he said.
"The boy has done fantastically well. He is developing as a professional, as a person and as a player.
"He is happy here. He has a contract until 2010 and we are not interested in even thinking about selling him."
