Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with the Barclays Premiership club.
The 29-year-oldÂ’s previous deal at the Reebok Stadium was due to expire this summer but he has now committed until 2010.
“I'm delighted that everything is sorted (out) now,” he told the club’s official website, www.bwfc.co.uk.
“The future is very promising for this football club and I'm happy that I can be part of it.”
Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce said: “Kevin is crucial to the ongoing success we have at this football club and I’m thrilled that he has committed his future to us.”
Davies joined the club on a free transfer in 2003 after previous spells at Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Chesterfield.
