Gabriel Heinze has ruled out a Manchester United departure, while Tottenham boss Martin Jol has played down reports he is preparing a bid for the Argentine.
Heinze has struggled to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's team this season - having suffered serious injury last term, the player has been unable to dislodge Patrice Evra this time around.
The marauding left-back has just six months remaining on his United contract but claims he will not be leaving Old Trafford in January.
That despite claims United are keen to use the sale of Heinze to finance a bid for Southampton starlet Gareth Bale.
"I have a contract signed until June 2007 and I do not want to go anywhere," said Heinze.
"I do not want to be sold in January. I want to wait until June to see what happens. I have a lot of other options for next season."
Heinze's insistence appears to have put interest from Tottenham, Juventus, Milan and Valencia on the backburner and Spurs boss Martin Jol has told Sky Sports News there is 'no truth' in rumours linking Spurs with a bid.
The Argentine says he has no axe to grind with Ferguson over his omission from the starting 11.
"I am happy in Manchester with my work and I want to try and get back into the team, but it is the coach that decides the team," added Heinze.
"My relationship with Alex Ferguson is normal, like any other player."
