West Brom boss Tony Mowbray concedes wantaway striker Nathan Ellington could be brought back into the fray against Leeds at the weekend.
Ellington has gone on the transfer list at The Hawthorns as he looks to engineer a move back to his former club Wigan, who have so far in the January window failed to tempt West Brom into a sale.
The 25-year-old's time in the Midlands has largely been one of disappointment but while accepting the player's wish to leave, Mowbray has demanded professionalism if he calls on Ellington's services.
Indeed, if a deal fails to be struck with Wigan, then Mowbray sees no alternative other than for both parties to get on with the job in hand, putting any past differences aside.
"Nathan will be integrated back in when we're all ready and when Nathan understands the situation," Mowbray told the club's official website.
"If this deal isn't going to happen he has two-and-a-half years left on his contract and we all have to get on together.
"He's got to get his head down, work hard in training and try to get himself back in the side and score some goals for this football club.
"He hasn't been involved for the last few weeks but that could change at anytime. It may change this week. It's not complicated.
"There is a club trying to sign him and we haven't come to an agreement, so nothing changes.
"He's our player and he has to get on with his job."
