Southampton boss George Burley has distanced himself from reports linking him with the vacant Scotland manager's job.
The SFA are on the lookout for a new boss after Walter Smith vacated the post to return to Rangers.
SFA officials have insisted the new manager will be Scottish and Burley's name has been mentioned in connection with the position.
Burley, though, is happy with the progress he is making at Southampton and is determined to carry on his work at St Mary's.
"It is an honour even to be mentioned for the job but I have only been at Southampton for a year and the only thing I am concentrating on is getting the club back to the Premier League," Burley told the club's official website.
"There have been a lot of changes and I have brought in a lot of players and staff. It is a difficult job but one I am enjoying."
