Jose Mourinho has refused to confirm he will stay on as Chelsea boss next season.
The Portuguese tactician's future at Stamford Bridge has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks amidst reports of an alleged split with the club's board.
It has been widely suggested Mourinho could leave West London in the summer following a reported fall-out with Roman Abramovich.
Mourinho was being non-committal on his long-term future at Chelsea following the 4-0 win over Wigan on Saturday.
"You know I have a contract until 2010 and I love to work for Chelsea football club but football is football and in football you never know what is going to happen," said Mourinho
"What I told before I love Chelsea, I love to work in English football and that plays an important part in the picture.
"My future is not important. My future is tomorrow, my future is the next game and Chelsea is important not me and I think people are trying to guess things."
Mourinho was happy to see his side return to winning ways against Wigan after three successive draws in the Premiership.
"The result is the most important thing when you have not been winning games and when you are winning games the next step is great performances
"We played well, dominated the game clearly and we deserved this comfortable result.
"Happiness is back with this victory and that was the most important thing today."
