Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the Serie A giants would be keen on re-signing Andrei Shevchenko should he be made available by Chelsea.
The Ukrainian international has struggled since moving to the Premiership for a club record £30million in the summer.
Rumours continue to circulate about Shevchenko's future at Stamford Bridge, despite the striker insisting that he is going nowhere.
Shevchenko has scored just three times in 20 league appearances this term and reports suggest Jose Mourinho could be ready to offload him.
If that is the case, Galliani says Milan would be interested in bringing the 30-year-old back to the San Siro.
Shevchenko scored well over 100 league goals during his seven years in Milan and remains an attractive proposition for club officials.
"If Chelsea one day decide to put Shevchenko on the market, Milan will certainly be there," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.
