Milan chief officer Adriano Galliani has ruled out a move for Real Madrid's Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has been unable to establish himself in the Real side this term and Fabio Capello is reportedly ready to leave him on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Italy, with Milan rumoured to be interested in uniting him with compatriot Kaka.
However, Galliani has dismissed the speculation and insisted Milan are not looking to sign anyone other than Lazio defender Massimo Oddo.
"We are not looking for a striker," said Galliani.
"There is only one negotiation underway at the time being and that is with Lazio for defender Massimo Oddo.
"If we are able to agree a price with Lazio we will sign him, otherwise we will not."
Following Galliani's statement, fresh reports in Italy have indicated that Juventus could be lining up a move for Ronaldo.
