Italian goalkeeper Marco Amelia is considering a move to Russian outfit Spartak Moscow after a transfer to Liverpool failed to materialise.
The English giants have a long-standing interest in the Livorno shot-stopper, but they have opted for Sampdoria's Danielle Padelli instead.
Now Amelia admits he could accept a move to the Russian capital.
"I can confirm that Spartak Moscow is interested in me," Amelia told Sport Express.
"Actually they asked to keep this information as a secret, but it looks like one of Livorno's officials already informed the press about this interest.
"Spartak officials didn't contact me, but I'm ready for negotiations. I've heard that their boss was keeper of USSR, so it will be more easy to talk.
"I have a contract with Livorno now so Spartak have to ask my club firstly.
"There is also England as Liverpool was interested in me, but negotiations didn't start."
Meanwhile, Livorno have completed the capture of Danish midfielder Martin Bergvold.
The 22-year-old has penned a three-and-a-half year contract after Livorno struck a deal with Copenhagen.
