Tottenham defender Calum Davenport has dismissed talk of a departure in the January transfer window.
Davenport has been continually linked with a move away from Spurs as he finds regular first-team chances hard to come by.
However, the 24-year-old insists he is happy at White Hart Lane and will not be unsettled by the rumours over his future.
"Sometimes it's a difficult time in the transfer window. It might unsettle some people but it doesn't unsettle me," Davenport said.
"I think it's nice if other managers have been watching you and like you, I take it as a compliment. Since I haven't really featured that much for them to notice me, it's nice that they have."
Davenport is currently enjoying a run in the side with skipper Ledley King sidelined by a foot injury, but knows King's return will mean he finds himself back on the fringes of the first team.
The former England Under 21 stopper is hoping for a big season at Spurs and is determined to push for a starting spot in Martin Jol's side.
"I'm 24 and want to establish myself as a Premiership player, hopefully I can do that this season," he continued.
"All we can do is push them, that's what I intend to do. There's no point having players moping about and getting on the manager's back."
Meanwhile, Davenport is adamant he is not looking to leave Tottenham and still believes he can forge a career for himself in North London.
He added: "An easy option sometimes is to look elsewhere but from my point of view, Tottenham are a massive club who have brought me in on a five-year deal.
"When things don't go your way it's easy to jump ship but I've worked hard and I feel in recent weeks I'm getting the rewards for the last couple of years."
