Henrik Larsson's agent has insisted his client's situation has not changed after one match.
Larsson made a perfect start to his three-month loan at Manchester United as he scored in the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
Helsingborgs chairman Sten-Inge Fredin revealed on Monday that Larsson would be allowed to extend his stay at Old Trafford until the end of the season if all parties were in agreement.
However, agent Rob Jansen has said there is no point speculating about Larsson's future at this stage.
"There is no situation. He has a contract until that period (March 12) and, in principle, that's it," Jansen explained.
"I can't answer the question of whether his contract could change because that is not the issue at the moment.
"The question of whose decision it is is also not important, because he has started and played one game."
Larsson, meanwhile, has placed his Manchester United debut in the top ten moments of his career.
"It was fantastic and definitely on the top-ten list. It was a superb start for me, to score a goal immediately and to win the game," he enthused.
"Sometimes everything works out right and this was one of those days.
"I don't know how this adventure with United will end but it sure is a fantastic adventure when you're 35 years old."
