Rangers have completed the signing of Andy Webster on loan for the rest of the season from Wigan Athletic.
The 24-year-old Scottish international has signed for The Gers after passing a medical on Friday.
Webster has failed to make the impact expected at The JJB Stadium since his move from Hearts earlier this season.
Now Rangers have landed Webster, who is not eligible to make his debut in Sunday's Scottish Cup clash with Dunfermline, despite the fact they have no manager in place after the departure of Paul Le Guen.
Webster, though, is delighted to have sealed his move.
"I have obviously played against them many times during my time at Hearts and I can't wait to pull on the jersey on a regular basis in front of 50,000 supporters at Ibrox," he told the club's website.
"I have agreed to join on loan until the end of the season and hopefully I can extend my stay beyond that."
