Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping Manchester United will enjoy a good run in this season's FA Cup.
Last season, United were knocked out by Liverpool in the fifth round, having reached the final in 2004 and 2005.
Aston Villa are United's third-round opponents on Sunday and Ferguson is aiming to preserve his record of having never lost at this stage of the competition.
Though his side are fighting for the Premiership and the UEFA Champions League, he insists the FA Cup is also high on his agenda.
"The FA Cup is the FA Cup," said Ferguson. "We are all looking forward to it.
"Hopefully we can get a good run in the FA Cup.
"There's a great cup record from both clubs, so it should make it an exciting cup tie.
"We want to progress and we want to do well in this cup. Hopefully we can navigate this round."
Tomasz Kuszczak will replace Edwin van der Sar in goal against Villa and Ferguson explained his thinking behind that decision.
He added: "With European football beckoning next month it is important Tomasz gets a bit of football.
"Edwin has been fantastic, but I think he understands we need to give the boy some experience."
