Cristiano Ronaldo's agent insists Manchester United are not ready to cash in on his charge.
The Portuguese winger is on a tremendous run of form which has helped United surge to the top of the Premiership.
The player was widely linked with a move away from the club last summer after his infamous clash with England during the World Cup finals, where he helped to get team-mate Wayne Rooney sent off.
However, while he continues to be the target for away fans, Ronaldo's play - particularly with Rooney, is blooming and that has made him one of the most feared players in world football.
Barcelona and Real Madrid were both quick to show an interest in the summer when Ronaldo admitted his desire to quit England.
Now Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes admits he did offer his client to Barcelona, but they at the time were more interested in landing Thierry Henry - who also opted to stay in England.
"I offered the player to Barca, but they told me they were expecting to sign Thierry Henry and rejected a possible deal," he told El Mundo Deportivo.
"At this point it is practically impossible that the player can join Barca because Manchester would not sell him for all the money in the world."
