Cesc Fabregas has called on his Arsenal team-mates to 'touch the greatness' they found last season in a bid to go one further and lift the UEFA Champions League crown.
The Arsenal star, still only 19-years-old, was key to Arsenal's impressive showing in last season's European conquest with outstanding performances against the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid.
Arsenal came so close to victory against Barcelona but two late goals from Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti gave the title to the Spanish club.
Fabregas refuses to look back at the final insisting he did not think his side failed and insists the Gunners can go all the way this time if they can only find greatness.
He told the Daily Mirror: "If we want to win the Champions League, then we have to touch the greatness we did last season.
"We know we can do that, because we showed it against Real Madrid, Juventus, Villarreal and then Barcelona. As a player, I do not believe in looking back and regretting things.
"I only do that when I feel I have failed and that I need to learn from the reasons for that failure. But like last year, the Champions League is different.
"It is about to get more difficult, but we know what we need to do and we know we can do it."
