Fulham received a pre-Christmas jolt with the news that Zat Knight is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a freak injury.
The defender has been a tower of strength for Chris Coleman this term, with his efforts earning him the club's captaincy, but he is likely to spend a number of weeks on the sidelines after fracturing his jaw in a domestic incident.
It has not yet been confirmed how long Knight will be sidelined for, but it is likely to be well into the New Year before he returns to action.
Coleman is already without Ian Pearce, Claus Jensen, Collins John, Papa Bouba Diop and Luis Boa Morte for Saturday's clash with West Ham United.
