Liverpool's postponed Carling Cup tie against Arsenal has been rearranged for January 9.
The quarter-final was postponed on Tuesday an hour before kick-off because of heavy fog at Anfield.
The decision to postpone the game upset Reds boss Rafa Benitez and Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger.
Both sides were unhappy at the postponement as the rearranged game will add to their busy fixture schedule.
The January 9 date was actually the date for the first leg of one of the semi-finals, but the semi-final will now be moved back as it is the first date available for both teams.
It means Liverpool and Arsenal will do battle twice in three days in January with the Gunners also visiting Anfield for an FA Cup third round tie on January 6.
