Nemanja Vidic feels Manchester United can win the Premiership and UEFA Champions League this season.
United are going strong in both competitions, currently topping the domestic table and having a second round European date with Lille to look forward to.
And though Chelsea are breathing down their necks on the home front, Vidic is tipping United to secure twin success.
"I don't want to compare the Premiership and Champions League because, for us, it is important we win the Premiership this season," said Vidic in The Sun.
"But I think this season we can win both the Premiership and the Champions League."
With the lead over Chelsea down to two points, Vidic is expecting a close race, but has tried to play down the significance of the meeting between the title rivals on 14th April.
He added: "I hope we can be there at the end of the season because we have played well so far this season.
"And if we keep playing like we have been, then we have a chance, but I don't think the game against Chelsea will decide the championship because there are so many other games that are important.
"For instance, Arsenal have to play Chelsea at home and who knows what can happen there?
"We just have to play every game well and not focus on just one game, like the one at Chelsea, as a decider."
