Watford are set to be boosted by the return of goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The 23-year-old has returned to training after a minor knee operation which has sidelined him for the last few weeks.
Foster is now hoping to return to the starting line-up for Saturday's trip to Anfield when they face Liverpool.
"I have had some light sessions in recent days, but Wednesday is my first day back," he revealed in his skysports.com Pro-Life column.
"If I come through the coming days I will be in contention to play at the weekend."
Foster, though, admits he may not walk straight back into the side given the excellent recent form of his deputy Richard Lee.
"I would love to play at Liverpool and be involved straight away, but I am not taking anything for granted at all," he added.
"Richard Lee has come in and done fantastic and has really done better than a lot of people thought he would, but he has not surprised me or anyone at the club."
