Birmingham midfielder David Dunn has admitted that he would consider a return to former club Blackburn.
Dunn left Ewood Park for Birmingham in 2003 but has struggled with injuries since and is currently sidelined with a calf problem.
He is set to resume training over Christmas with a view to a first-team comeback in the New Year, but he has also been linked with a move away from St Andrews.
Dunn's contract expires at the end of the season and Birmingham are believed to be ready to listen to offers in January.
The Englishman is keen to move closer to his family in the North, and admits that he is a lifelong fan of Rovers.
"There's no hidden secret that I am a Blackburn fan and I always have been, so one day it might happen," he told Sky Sports News.
"Whether that happens sooner or later is down to the two clubs.
"I would certainly have to consider it (a bid). All my family and friends are up there and the most important thing for me is my little girl.
"She lives up in the north and that would make it easier for me to see her."
