Hey everyone,
I am a Thai Student currently studying in Singapore.
I am fortunate to be a part of a Thailand's charity trip called 'Innovation Camp', which aims to improve the living standards of the less fortunate rural community in Thailand.
On the 8th July 2012, I will taking part in one of the trip to help a local school in a boarder province called Mae-Sot, North-Western Thailand.
This project aims to sustainably help the less fortunate kids by;
1) Donate a water filtration system, as kids are currently drinking water straight off the underground water (no pipes/ water system like Singapore)
2) Donate a mini farm for the kids to have sustainable food as most of them are too poor to even have a decent meals
3) Fix classroom roofs so kids don't have to have class under the heavy rain during the rainy season like now
The project is currently running short of donations, so I think it would be a good idea to kindly ask all of Singaporeans to generously help the less fortunate kids in Thailand by donating some money towards the project.
More information of the project can be found at: innovationcamp.weebly.com
Many thanks :)
