Cheapest way to call from thailand to singapore?

  Pls help

  I going to thailand soon and i have a question.

  1) i intend to gove my gf a prepaid sim card. And i buy a prepaid sim card from thailand   and use it to contact her.

  • I do not wan to use idd from post paid mobile phone as it could be expensive.

             " Unless anyone knows the rate and it is cheap i.e $1 for 10 mins"

  • I do not have land line phone access
  • I wish to heep track of how much i use.

  is it the cheapest way to call back from thailand?

  2) Does anyone know what is the rate for useing prepaid call vs post paid call to recieved call from thailand ?

  use calling cards

  you can purchase calling cards in SG too, my friend uses the M1 calling card.

  if im not wrong theres an international calling card that charges a few baht per min nia.

  but i will be buying thai pre paid card lor cause i do not have any landlines near my place.

  if use calling card .. would it be double charges? i.e the pre paid card and calling cards?

  Also does anyone know whethere the incoming calls for hp in singapore also apply to calls received from overseas?

  go count on how much it costs to call direct from the service provider, compared to using a calling card + local service provider rates then.

  when i used skype, the other fella has to pay the received call

  when i use calling card, the guy on the other side no need to pay
