Airport Tax is 700 bahts liao and it is factored into your air tix liao..no need to Buy at counter liao....
Go RCA if you wanna try clubbing lor...beers are cheap, go to ROUTE 66 or SLIM... open one bottle only around 1500 baht plus mixer around 400 baht....
as for food...eat at roadside stalls lah! -

roadside store kway teows (that's what they call ALL their noodles) are tasty.
i usually have chicken rice or chicken noodles. -

yeah RCA is to Bangkok what Zouk or MOS is to Singapore. Expensive places. But of course their expensive is cheap for us liao haha... same building, different areas with different music. -

its Royal City Avenue.
its a street, avenue, whatever u call it.
there are clubs, u have ktv there, u can play pool, u can go play go-karts. -

next time buy either 3 months or 1 month in advance.
for tiger airways, if u buy 3 months in advance you'll get the early bird promotion.
1 month is like playing stocks. this you can monitor tiger or airasia, the prices will fluctuate daily. 3 more weeks to your trip u can stop monitoring, the prices will be high and hoping for a super sale will be too risky.
i've bought my july tickets for $124.
my acceptance limit for tickets is $190. -
