Question, on the 13th (1st day of Songkran), what's a good time to head and best transport to Khao San?Originally posted by bangkokboy:OMG. I think most of them will be heading back home. Bangkok will still be happening nonetheless, do head for Khao San road during the Song Kran festival for some crazy water mayhem!
Hi,Originally posted by ratchadapisek(soi17):Question, on the 13th (1st day of Songkran), what's a good time to head and best transport to Khao San?
I was thinking 11am by boat from Petchaburi to Phra Arthit
not sure if the boat from Petchaburi goes all the way there
wikipedia says to take from BTS Saphan Taksin
There is a bus terminal at Mo Chit, however that bus terminal is not easily assessible. Will you be going to Khao San with your friends? If yes I think taxi is the best option... (reason being I not sure about the bus number lol)Originally posted by ratchadapisek(soi17):bkkboy, i need help on this too.
is there a bus terminal at mo chit where i can take a bus to khao san?
its the red bus, number 2.Originally posted by bigmouthjoe:There is a bus terminal at Mo Chit, however that bus terminal is not easily assessible. Will you be going to Khao San with your friends? If yes I think taxi is the best option... (reason being I not sure about the bus number lol)
Anyway I will help you to ask around.
eh, before i head into kao san.Originally posted by bangkokboy:Hi,
Mmh there's bound to be a massive traffic jam at Khao San Road. Normally I would just drop off nearby and take a walk to Khao San. Not advisable to attempt to ask the taxi to enter that area...
Or you can attempt something dumb which I did last time... I took a tuk-tuk and was wet even before I reached Khao San.
Anyway regarding the boat ride, yes the station is Saphan Taksin.
