Can anyone advise how to tackle with those money eating bike shop?
We have already return the bike to the bike shop but the bike shop refuse to take back, and demanding a sum of S$1500.00...
Now that LTA have change the ownership of the bike to the bike shop, the bike shop is demanding a sum of S$3500.00 after adding all the interest charges..
What can we do to avoid paying this money eating bike shop...
Thanks,
Helpless...

I reckon you go to Consumer Association of Singapore 1st.
MP will likely ask you to go there (CASE) too. Unless CASE can't settle your above-mentioned problem, then go to your Minister for help.
You also can ./ignore angel7030

Ask TS ... read topic discussion lah.
we have gotten into a bike accident and decided to buy a car instead, after repairing the bike (which is not damage badly), we want to give it back to the bike shop. But they are refusing to take it back, and if they are willing we have to give them S$1500.00 which was unresonable. Therefore we just leave the bike outside the shop, and they took it back, because of the road tax was not renewed we invloved the LTA, which advise us to take our name out of the ownership, automatically the bike shop will claim the ownership back, we followed and turn out LTA was right. After that we thought all is fine since the ownership is not under our name, but the bike shop keep sending us letters demanding we pay and now the amount is rolling up to S$3500.00 after all the interest which is ridculars.
Wah, TS, don't be an asshole. You wrecked their bike, so pay up.
we did not wreck their bike... please read properly first... we reparied somemore.. and already said was not serious.. was just a small bend and some scratch... (Which i said was repaired)...
Well you take a bike out of the shop, have accident . Decide not to have it , repair it and dump it back to shop !!!
Frankly you take the bike and have accident with it- regardless of type of damage even if you repair it - it is not new - the shop have all the rights to demand you pay for it. It is unfair the take a used bike and give it to another customer - when it is your fault.
Be an asshole , in the law - it is clearly your fault , try to be clever - and let the interest roll , but then the amount roll till - the cost of your car !!!
