The footpath can incorporate a bicycle track.
It just a matter of want to or don't want to by the government.
Want to, just do it.
Don't want to, they have all sorts of excuses.

Also, im not as idiotic as you are. If a car honks at me whilst i am cycling, i would give way. If not the car would have every right to run me over. Imagine that a group of cyclist refusing to give way on the road to a car behind them. Thats like you, you retard.

You are assuming that everybody in Singapore is as stupid as you. Apparently you have never driven before or knew anything about singapore's driving culture..
Nobody in their right sense of mind (unless if it is the above idiot) would want to run anybody over. Even if it wasnt the driver's faults it would also be very troublesome because of all the investigations that need to be done and not to mention the grief that any normal human being would felt for taking away th life of another human being (unless the person is worse than a beast like the idiot.)
Hey. I hope that the day when your grandparents/parents (and yourself when you are a frail old man) are too old and slow to react to the bell ringing of the cyclists..Those cyclists you met would be just like YOU.. RUN your grandparents/parents and yourself over... HAHA. Do go and visit your grandparents/parents later in the hospital and tell them right in their face that "Why didn't you give way to the bicycle when the cyclist rang the bell at you.. The cyclist has the every right to run you over." Sounds familiar right? Haha...Originally posted by whyiseverynametaken:haha rude and aggresive people... so says the guy who previously posted "high controversial" on highschool dropouts and what should be done to them.
Wow.. You are a fan of me or what? Bloody lifeless stalker. You actually bothered to read through all the other stuffs which I wrote? That shows how insecure you are... Can't even carry out a proper debate (shall not use the word 'debate' because all that you have said are considered as rubbish and thrash in my opinion).
Go and get a life please. Stop your online stalking. Mr Empty Vessels...
I have a life, and it revolves on annoying you. I dont even understand half of what you write. "unless the person is worse than a beast like the idiot"? what does that mean?
And when i am old, if a cyclist rings a bell behind me, i would step out of the way. Because I'm not a dumbass who blocks paths. Read what i write. I said i would signal, and if some poser (i can totally imagine you being one of those guys who thinks he's better than everybody), like you still stood in front of me, then i would run right through you. And i wouldn't do that to old people, thats just mean. I would target people like you; who's a big poser. Unless you're old, handicapped, retarded, or have a hearing aid then my apologies.
So i guess I'm sorry.
just step aside, give way....what's the big deal? LOL. so what if the road is narrow? so what if the cyclist kept ringing his bells? Just step aside and give way, no big deal.
Ya la alr say give in and give way :D relac :D
In bishan, there are many cyclists that uses the walkways. I have nothing against 99% of them, cause they signal and when we give way, they say "thanks", and we nod our heads.
But the 1% is spoiling everything. They come real close to you, ring their bell, and "tsk tsk" if U don't move fast out of their way.
Sometimes, we just come back from NTUC, with heavy stuffs, and pushing a stroller with our youths, how to move fast? Once, they even almost hit my pregnant wife, and gives me the "tsk tsk" and rude stare. I really wanted to push a stick into their wheels, see what happens next, but the good nature in me just ignore.
while to most, it is a chicken and egg thingy, I feel that if there are crowded walkways, cyclists should alight and push their bikes. Just a short 5m, and the cyclists should be able to go about their way. Not a big deal, right?
Haiyo !!! Cal them take th road and get honk at !!!!!!

Actually if the cyclist rings at the pedestrian far ahead (say about 20m ) it would not be so annoying. This would alert the pedestrian that a cyclist is aproaching from behind. A simple ting would do, not the incessant ringing.
Pedestrian could give way, no big deal.
Can this be the cycling ethiquet?
When a cyclist saw pple in front of him/her, he/she should slow down and push the bicycle, instead of ringing madly to give way.
haha man you're soooo hypocritical. You're reading my old posts now, even though you said i was a stalker for reading yours? First Hitler's genocide on school dropouts and now reading back on old posts? You are hilarious.

What scary is the cyclist accidentally ram into you from behind.
all that shit you said to me isn't english dipshit; and you probably have more grammatical errors than everybody else on this topic... So stop schooling me on english, which you probably failed in Singapore.

Cannot be like that lah....its so impractical to dismount and re-mount everytime a cyclist see people....Do u know how many times it has to be done? Maybe more than 20 times for a relatively short distance.
I do slow down, in fact, I slow down until very slow, everytime I see people. But dismounting is not neccessary I think.

Once I ever give way and I was nearly knock down by the cyclists.
Slow down, or push over would be better.

Yeah, do make sense.
Just cycle with care. Not speeding.
I'll just ask them to be more polite..if they talk back, i'll just kick their bicycle.

I did not give a damn and continued walking slowly... He got no choice but to wait behind me..
Wat would u do if u all were to meet such rude and impatient cyclists?
You're just plain childish.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
