oh my god i saw an electric bicycle on CTE!

I was literally stunned when i saw this uncle riding the electric bicycle on the expressway !! I was riding from CTE towards AYE when i spotted this electric bicycle at the road shoulder near balestier exit. Traffic police should ban all this kind of electric bicycle its getting out of hand nowadays! TOo bad i was riding a motorcycle and cant get to snap a pic of the uncle. It was going around 30/kmh!!

I don't know much about electric bike but i recently talk to someone who owns a $350 petrol powered bicycle . It can go to a top speed of 50 kilometers unmodified or 60 kilometers modifed . And he told me he rode it from clementi all the way to seng kang which left me greatly impressed and having an impulse to buy it . If not for my brother whom warned me about being caught by LTA .
Frankly speaking if the LTA is not taking any actions or whatsoever , i really will consider buying 1 to ride to city or nearby places in the west as it can be my alternate source of transport esp when beyond traffic hours .
