if its the frame of the bike..
use 3x of the colour you want
and 1x white paint for coat....
and use 1x transparent spray for the finish....
its there to make it look glossy....
first.. must disassemble properly la...
then scrap off all paint using sand paper...
then use some strong thinner to wipe...
then spray white on it just 1 coat....
then spray the colour you want...
normally 5-7 coats for me... last longer....
and rmb.. each coat... wait for at least 2 hour before next coat
then... when u feel there is enough coat....
just wait for it to dry and spray the transparent 1....
Don't scrap off all the paint. Espically if your frame is aluminium. Once you soray off all the paint, and your frame oxidised, your paint will be less hardly. Scrap off abit, but not all of the original paintwork.
If your new coat of paint is dark, don't bother with spraying a layer of white paint. The white base is such that you can paint other colors on more easily, but if you are spraying on dark colors, y bother?
The trasparent layer is ayrlic(spelling?) lacquer. It's not very helpful, just another layer of protection. Another suggestion is to go down to a car spray shop and get them to lacquer it for u.
