Accident 1:
Was Playing some light trials with my friend at Kallang Bahru area.
As I was trying to hop over an obstacle, my foot slipped while trying to hook up the pedal.
My foot den slamed down on the pedal and it swung back, striking me HARD on the right shin!
As I was using Kona FR Pedals, some of the studs on the pedal dug into my shin's skin....
Luckily, my friend had an Army-style bandage in his saddlebag and he helped me bandage my shin.
Wound Healed in 3 weeks time, leaving behind 2 scars...

Accident 2:
Chionging through Bukit timah Trail as I was racing a XC rider...
Was so engrossed with the race that I failed to look out for a BIG pot hole on the downhill.The bike's front wheel got caught and I was flung into the air and rolled down a bed of ROCKS.
Left thigh swollen.. , lots of scratches on right forearm... front wheel destroyed..
Right hand badly hurt, couldn't hold the handlebar properly as I rode home.
Went to Sinseh after parking bike at home...
Sinseh said I had broken some tiny bones in my hand...
endured 3 hours of painful massage and electric treatment(to unclot the blood )..
Fully recovered a month later..

i ride too fast untill cannot control...
den the bike turn 2 round off the ground and i am still riding it...
when i fall, it have turn 2 full round and i fall from my shoulder...
den the bike is still running...quite far away from me...
1st thing when i fall off...
i cannot get up...cause no strength and stund about it...
lieing on the floor...but i faster get myself up...
cause got a group of gals passing by...
and my gf running to me...

cycling on nicoll highway towards east coast
at the traffic light when all the cars stopped, i squeezed pass them.
than while squeezing, my front wheel went into the drain(quite surprised can go in), than my knee langa the handlebar got blueblack

cycling in ECP with a group of frens at night going home
than suddenly this little boy from the other direction came into our lane
my fren jammed his brakes so i squeezed my front one..
in the end, flew over the handlebar and landed on the floor
turned look at the parents of the little boy they nv say anything jus cycle away
was damn shocked at that time
cycle home with an open wound and the wind blowing
was jus horrible -
When I was around 10 years old, Was racing with my sister down a road. She want to cheat, try to fish tail me. In the end, I was trown off my bike, with my chin scraping the road. Got scar for quite a while, now no more scar, the only scar left is the memory of that
b*tch who tried to cheat LOL. -
I was night cycling with BF all the way to East Coast. Bumped into a dozen lamp posts and bus stop ads and a bunch of innocent pedestrians because I didn't know how to control his yucky bike.

had a bad one while cycling at ubin like 8 years ago
was riding down a slope(those gravel road) then realised my friend in front fell down. I crashed myself while trying to avoid him as i was travelling very fast.
bleeding + damage bike....have to push all the way to the bicycle shop. cant remember if i had paid for damages to the bike or not

Fell down when attempting to do stunts.
Fell down when bike slipped across muddy area.
Fell down when brake not good enuf... Ebrake style.
Fell down when trying to evade opposite cyclist.
Fell down when sitting on bike and not moving.
Fell down when cycling with 2 hands. Never happened with no hands...
Fell down when ................ forgot.

Forgot to add:
1)On the very 1st day which I bought my very first MTB (Giant Yukon Disc ), my friend and I went cycling at MacRitchie reservoir.
Was my 1st time riding offroad with my own bike(too used to riding sentosa's rental bikes le ) , so I'm not very good at controlling it.
As I was going downhill, a bunch of monkeys suddenly appeared at the bottom of the track! I skidded as I did an "E brake " and fell sideways off the bike. Heng I grabbed on to a tree root and did not join the bike as it tumbled down the slope. The monkeys screeched loudly as they dodged my bike.
I escaped with a few scratches on my left elbow and forearms. Mild bleeding.
2) Riding behind a friend at East Coast Park... suddenly , the kid in front did a on-the-spot U turn with his bike. My friend did an E-brake...I couldn't stop in time and rammed hard into him. I wasn't hurt... but my friend had a huge bruise on his back as my aero bar kana him. -
Got one time, after the rain stop, I went out to cycle and cycle at top speed. While making a turn, the bike skidded. Lady Luck on me that time, never fell down.
Got another time cycle downhill, couldn't apply brakes in time and buang the lamp post.
Still, another time fell into the drain. Underestimated the space between the bike and the drain, that's why fell into it.
The next one happened at car park. Lost my balance and fell of my bike. Scrapped my right arm and there's still a scar.
The worst one is after I change my spectacles. I think I can't get use to the new pair of glasses, buang into a bus stop bench. Scare the people in the bus stop.
Other accidents include almost getting strike by lightning (lightning strike behind the rear just when I chiong past the traffic light), almost falling into the drain (still noob at that time).
Enough accidents to last me a lifetime hor? -
And dis 1 not fell down BUT its smth dat almost got me and my fren killed! Dat guy drive car can't see pedestrian crossing! Da taxi besides him nearer to our side stopped to let us pass den dis poor excuse for a driver juz zoom and stop right at the crossing almost have us slamming into the door! And the gal sitting with him did not look at us! The guy wasn't even looking at us too!
I think his driving abilities will sure land him into hot waters. I wun pray for him though. I not dat "holy" to bless such people until they learnt a GOOD lesson. Hope his license kenna revoked! And fine to boot! -
Very the common... usually I just stop. If they give way, I cross first. If they don't, then ok lor. Ah.... u guys had just jogged my memory!
Here are some more of my past accidents and near accidents !
1) Was at Traffic light with friend at Zion Road (opp Joo Huat bike shop ) . When the green man appeared, I waited till traffic on the 1st lane stopped(there's a Merc rather far away in the 2nd lane ) before inching my bike forward. Suddenly , my friend (next to me ) yelled "OEI! " I jammed the brakes, turned around and asked "What ? "
A Split second later, the stupid merc on the 2nd lane screeched to a halt ONE CAR's LENGTH over the stop line!
Had my friend not yelled at me, I would had been knocked down that day. The driver didn't even wind down his window to apologize.. simply looked around in a haughty manner!
I gave his bonnet a punch as I rode pass while my friend glared at him.
The screeching of tires was so loud dat even the Joo Huat boss came out to take a look!
2) Was cycling home from the west after the rain and was travelling along Chinatown. When I was outside Funan, a bangala Jaywalker suddenly jumped onto the road. As I couldn't brake in time, I slammed into him and we both fell to the road. I (and my bike ) landed on the Bangala so I wasn't hurt.
But the Bangala had a bruise on his right leg. I stayed back and calmed him down as several kaypos gathered around to stare at us. No one helped the Bangala up and I had to do so before picking my bike up from the road.
10 mins later, the Bangala felt better after some stretching. I gave him some plasters for the scratches he suffered. Bangala forgave me as he said he was the one at fault for suddenly jumping onto the road (he wanted to cross the road )
My handlebar got misaligned... went to GHC later on to get it fixed.
3) was at ECP riding with my cousin. Cousin tailgating me....
We are riding on the cycle path outside the mac..when a kid on a kick scooter suddenly swerved into my lane. I applied the front brakes a little too hard and did a very high "Stoppie " . My cousin who's behind me slammed his face into my rear wheel. Both of us fell to the ground. I had a few scratches. My cousin had scratches, a cut lip and a bleeding nose.... -
#1Trying to do gap on my SPD pass 2 time 3rd time fell...knee liagament slight thorn...
#2 Intended to went down slope but nv see a stairs in front of me(20+++++ steps)and endo down...clipped into SPD...Abration to both side of my kidney area, cuts to corner of eye, finger and knee...
#3 Try a stopie and end up over doing resulting to an endo...Abration at knee area and elbow area...and hav to endure the wind while cycling to orchard and later home...
#4 Upon reaching orchard skate park after incident #3...do stupid things and fell...injured my knee liagament old injury again...
#5 Endless of pedal bite due to playing light trials when im on my Platform...
#6Days ago...while trying to kangaroo on my bike...pulled too hard and lean too back and woots...injured my neck and back...till nw i cant tilt my head too back...will cause acute pain...on SPD btw
#6 Try to wheelie and on wrong gearing and pulled too hard in the end endure being a turtle...again...im on SPD...
#7 jump jump at T15 ds track...in the end become flying superman(endo somehw) and endured a bruised ass and a dented RD cage...

Somehow, just wish kids are off the park. They are really reckless. The last time I went East Coast to cycle, I was cycling at a very slow speed. One kid (around 5 years old, I guess), roller blade his way and bang the rented bike. I already siam all the way to the corner of the cycling path, and he just roller bladed his way right into me. Can't move to the other side, there's another cyclist. Luckily I am only cruising, if not bang him real hard to give him a lesson.

Was cycling down T15 chionging down the slopes when got a damn hiker appear out of the corner blah
So to avoid hitting him instead of turning went straight into a tree , front tire bang tree i fly and hit tree . Cock hiker just gong gong stand there and ask " are you ok" -.-
of course not okay la Lucky no serious injury just some bruising and thank god for my helmet -

I seldom go cuz very mafan, must push the bike under the fence or squeeze thru from the side to get into the trail.
Also , it's illegal to cycle there, so must be wary of park rangers.
I prefer riding at BT.... last time ride at MacRichie with friends, kana caught by ranger... lucky he give chance, decided not to book us!
Bang into tree.. that's damn serious man!
Joo Huat's Boss kept a pic of his Ang Mor Customer's injury (Ang Mor e mailed the pic to him ) in his lap top. I later if got pass by his shop, will ask him let me save it in my thumb drive so I can show u all. Damn jialat... I think he broke his cheek bone and had to undergo surgery...end up cheek got one scar.

This was the pic of him AFTER he washed his wound upon reaching home.
However, the pain got so unbearable at night that he took a Taxi to SGH to seek medical treatment.
So u can imagine him riding home painfully and slowly along Bukit Timah Road as blood flowed freely down his cheek... -
thats the attitude man...injured liddat still can smile...i nv say ride safe is because...when u ride safe u wun hav guts to do big things...for T15...no its no illegal...there is meeting point sign out side the gate...anyway...some yaya delivery man kp at me last time when i wan enter thou...but i jus show him the finger and point to the meet up point and he got nth to say...and btw...FRing at T15 salom track is rather fun...

That time I race with friends, I bend low and grip handlebar for Aerodynamic posture... my friend griped the boots of his fork for a even more aero posture!
Wonder what will happen if suddenly need to brake sia..
So, u got go hospital before because of your injuries? Or just go clinic?
