I've heard rumours from other bikers that TAY(the boss of the shop ) is sometimes rude to customers who come to his shop to browse and ask this ,ask that, end up never buy!Originally posted by iSpeak:

I used to go to Gee Hin Chan..but now I go to Joo Huat bike shop at Kim Seng Road only! The pricing and service at Joo Huat is very good!
Fellow Forumite , King Of Hades , is a Regular customer of Joo Huat too!

So what's your ride?
I ride a Haro V4, model 2006.
Just an entry-level mountain bike. Nothing flashy, but it's great value for money. I dream of riding a Pinarello someday.
My bike has [b]SHTI DISC BRAKES!! Never buy anything from Tektro!!
One thing I realized is that Haro mountain bikes are severely undervalued. Haro makes great mountain bikes but I feel they are suffering from their stereotype as a "BMX Bike" manufacturer when it comes to this market.
Got my stats off Harobikes.com - too lazy to recollect on my own.

i also have that chain but put it aside & using X9 coz doing some offroading lately so SL stretches very easily.Originally posted by markzz:KMC X9 SL GOLD chain lor...
Good chain..but lousy link!
I think I'll buy a SRAM "missing link " to replace my missing link (No pun intended ..."Missing link " is the brand of the LINK )
Actually Joo Huat sells things at quite reasonable pricesOriginally posted by de_middle:i also have that chain but put it aside & using X9 coz doing some offroading lately so SL stretches very easily.
Already killed one SL chain liao
so far the missing link is fine for me. Joo Huat like very lok kok bike shop, been there twice but have yet to use them. My bike is like chapalang from everywhere.
Do u know that Joo Huat used to be a Motorcycle shop several years back?Originally posted by the_king_of_hades:Actually Joo Huat sells things at quite reasonable prices
The Boss also very friendly
Friendliness is very subjective actually, once you have a rapport with a particular LBS, they naturally become ur friend & prices also becomes good.Originally posted by the_king_of_hades:Actually Joo Huat sells things at quite reasonable prices
