i don't think i'll like to live in a castle. really dark and gloomy place. visited tons of them when i was in ireland. once u've seen one, u've seen them all.

haha.. the castles i visited was really dark inside. stone everywhere. really feel like i was transported back into the medieval times.
u realise that english castles usually have small slits around the castle walls? it is for the defence of the castle from attacks. the slits enable the soldiers to shoot with their arrows.
and also the spiral stairs? lt is usually goes clockwise in direction when u are going up. reason for it is that it makes it diffcult for the attackers to use their swords to fight their way up. and also it makes it easier for the defender to fend off the attacker from the top down. -

This is a picture I took of Monaco Palace...which to me was quite disappointing considering how rich Prince of Monaco is haha.... anyway it is quite a small palace leh.....and i blanko myself cos I dun wan to be misunderstood as prince of monaco

oh this is the front view of the palace ar.... when i was there.. i was too lazy to climb up so never go see.. but it look really different from the back leh...i only like the sea view there... si bei chio... -

when u climb up, the sea view is breathtaking man.... and u can how rich Monaco is with all the yatchs in their harbour... when i was there, i also saw them getting ready for the Monte Carlo GP....they just convert all the usual roads into a race track.....Originally posted by I-like-flings(m):
