Washing of shaker

How do you guys wash the shaker? My shaker, after use for 2+ months starts to smell of vomit (my protein powder is vanilla flavour btw) even thought I've soak the shaker in water for days + salt water. How do I get rid of the vomit smell inside the shaker?

Rinse with hot water and baking soda.

Hah...ya lor vanilla shakes really leave pungent odours *uggghh*
It's easier to wash when I drink chocolate flavour though..use a lot of soap.. and wash almost immediately after drinking to prevent lingering of odour.
Anyway I'm sure he meant this to be more of a discussion than to ask only YOU ok.... -

That's EXACTLY the point fudgester was trying to make. The guy just wanted to put it up for discussion. It was NOT directed at you.
