I do 2 hrs, but it's usually because I need to wait for gym equipment.Originally posted by galapogos:Assuming you mean the workout duration, it's due to hormonal balance between the anabolic and catabolic ones. Usually the limit is about 45-50min, unless you're under specific supplementation such as BCAA/Glutamine.
i waited 35 mins for one machine today... wanted to do squats, no other machine to use... stupid right?Originally posted by galapogos:That's way, way too long. I spend about 2 hours at the gym but 1+hour of it is spent warming up and doing core work. Actual strength training from the first to last work set is kept within 50min. Even when I was messing around last time it never exceeded 75min. 120min is way too long.

What gym you train at where you can share the power/squat rack?
Not really a power rack... I dunno how to describe it... But it is used for both squats and deadlifts by everyone thereOriginally posted by OPT:who uses the power rack for deadlifts? Are they stupid??
because you can't possibly do it 24/7?Originally posted by Agenda:Why should we limit per gym session?
Actually in most gyms you have to use the power rack for deadlifts. They don't have spare olympic barbells lying around, so either you take it from the power rack or from the bench press station, and if you take it from the power rack you might as well do it in the power rack since the rack would be useless w/o the bar and you may be blocking someone else if you do it in the open.Originally posted by OPT:who uses the power rack for deadlifts?
