running trains the body differently. Being strong and able to run efficiently is an efficient comboOriginally posted by Nadare:so glad that gym workouts has made u fitter, more confident and of cos healthier
i do visit the gym once in a while and workout , but running helps in losing of weight too, it builds stamina and endurance.. so cant neglect running either..
8-10 mins of HIIT will beat 30 mins of jogging anyday. You get maximal cardiac output from HIIT unlike jogging.Originally posted by Nadare:but running helps in losing of weight too, it builds stamina and endurance.. so cant neglect running either..

It helped me actually wear clothes for my height, without looking like a scarecrow.
It helped be more confident and feel more healthy.

wow.. i didn't know that going to gym can make one look like a adultOriginally posted by borntolive:hmmmm made me alot more confident ba. Used to be short n thin, 165cm n 49-50kg n lead a total sedentary lifestyle, dont even look like a adult That was in around feb 06..
Then i started weightlifting n looking for better nutrition.
After about 5 mths of playing n trying out in gym and after BMT disruption, i decided to train seriously at least to make full use of my NS liability. Now shot to 70kg and my clothers get much tighter and look much better .
