There was actually an article in The Sunday Times yesterday by a US trainer which spoke of the same... that weight training is the essential one for losing fat and staying lean. he used to be an aerobics instructor or smthg then one day he suddenly realised why all his students after being with him for so long still had shockingly excess amount of flesh but those who spend little time in the weights room are lean and toned. so he changed his mindset and took up weights and in fact asked all the students to do weights instead....
