hanging pikes are good.Originally posted by Spirit of Fire:Do the hanging knee raise. It targets the obliques, a pair of muscles that run diagonally along the sides of your torso & are responsible for its ability to flex. It also works the lower portion of the rectus abdominis, the large muscle that flexes the torso forwards & backwards. This muscle is responsible for the rippled 'six-pack' or 'shredded' abs look so many guys covet.
Crunches alone won't deliver that six-pack - although this much appreciated exercise does assist mightily in abs development & definition. Only aerobic exercise & a fat-burning diet will reveal those much-desired bulges that yearn for development.
Haha, this one I tried after a long time without exercise. Just doing a few cheat pull-ups got my abs aching.Originally posted by Simon Dean:If i tell people that pullups can target abs they wouldnt believe me![]()

Any form of aerobics exercise that includes jogging loses fat. The exercise to a certain extent will firm up those flabby muscles that had not been utilise before namely those lower torso's muscles.
To gain that 6 pecs. You NEED to lose those weights first. Do aerobics exercise for at least a minimum of 15 mins 5 to 6 times a week. This need to be followed by weights training. NO SPOT training - meaning you don't just work on your tummy only. Do an overall weight training and isometric exercise too. The plank work is extremely effective for getting that 6 pecs but remember you do need to lose those fats first.
Last but not least - your input has to be equivalent to your output. Ex: if you take in 3600 calories a day you need to work that much off too.
There you go happy getting that 6 pecs![]()
