Ever tried burpees for rounds of 5 min intervals before?its tough.Originally posted by sonic_16:so you're sayingn do interval training?
but most health organisations say jogging's good?
Eh really ar? Now I trying to lose weight by running once every 2 days leh..But I dun jog lar the pace is about 25minutes to complete 5km..Originally posted by Simon Dean:I pass by setting the pace higher for every round.
Timing about 11.36
Anyway, i dont jog.Jogging makes you weaker, sets of hundred metre sprints are the way to go.Besides jogging puts your body in the survival mode and destroys your muscles and stores up fat.And your leg cant produce power when called to.

If something inside burst because there's no pain......... HOW?Originally posted by hiphop2009:i used to hav pains in my stomach when i run (partly is because i dun excerise). so my fren told me this method:
pop two panadols inside ur mouth n drink red bull before the start of ur run. surprisingly, i managed to chiong and pass with 12 minute plus (eh, i dun exercise and i managed to pass). panadols is to stop the pain and red bull is for u to chiong.
BUT.
i am strongly AGAINST this method. u nvr noe wad is gonna happen. for me, nth happen, but pls dun try it~

i used to do interval training all the time, my timing is usually 11 mins+
after i took up jogging, i improved my timing to 10 mins+ since it help build up my stamina n breathing technique
so ??Originally posted by Simon Dean:continue pounding your knees with 6x your bodyweight everystep
80% or more of your top speed where the pounding is on your muscles not your joints (get ready to burn huge amounts of fat and be really good at sports fitness).Originally posted by Kenashi:so ??
interval training or running don't do that??

i alway clock below 10 for 2.4kmOriginally posted by manyu882:so actually to score 12 minutes its damn easy.. its like normal pace jogging for 2.4.
so if i put in a little effort, to have a pace like 2nd and 3rd set... with consistant running+ chiong at the last 200m, can be as fast as 10 minutes...
when the time u run, u'll just keep concentrating your pace... and dont have time to think of anything. well i think that suits me
