Why no recognition for weightlifting in Singapore

I heard from a member from Singapore weightlifting federation(SWF) that they only get a funding of 10k annually.That pathetic amount is less than 1k a month!Is this how Singapore treats the sport that has won them the ONLY olympic medal?Very disappointing.

It shows that Singapore has a potential in that sport, Tan Howe Liang can train others as well.Instead of picking out that aspect.Yea sure, go buy FTs...
