Accompanied one of my lady friends for a workout last night. She wanted me to teach her lifting.I told her if u want me to teach u,u must follow everything I say.
We set up camp inside the power rack and I taught her this routine.
Breathing Squats-1 set of 20
supersetted with
Pullovers-1x20
Stiff legged deadlifts-2x5
Bent over rows-3x5
Incline presses-3x5
For the squats, she just did the empty Olympic bar which I figured she would even have difficulty with.I told her you are not allowed to ditch the bar until you have finished all 20 reps. She did all 20 reps-below parallel with me by her side providing "encouragment".This one set alone took about 5 mins coz she was catching her breath in between reps. I didnt help her one bit...so I must say I admire her determination to complete the set.
People kept looking at us like we are aliens, after all,how often do you see males in the power rack, let alone females?
She was absolutely annihilated after the program.Well,my aim was to make her understand the real meaning of the word "hard work".
P.S: I made her do bent over rows not because she can't do chin ups. Rather coz so that I could stand in front of her to provide guidance. Old birds would know what that would entail.
