2x 10kg
my height 175
weight 55
I will do pumping at home whenever I am not free to go gym...but i prefer going to gym because I like working with free weights more...Originally posted by Jacky88:Do pumping la...
who said so... my cousin does pumpings and chin-ups at home only... doesn't take any supplements but drinks lots of milk.. bruce lee physique, but much broader..Originally posted by dal2010:Gym beats house exercises...straight...lol
even if you have all the equipment at home, please do spare a thought for your neighbours haha! weights will banged on their ceiling 24/7..
Pumpings are just not enough to build mass hahah!
didn't i mention broader? the thing about going to the gym is tt you'll be tempted to try doing heavy weights and less reps... this way, your muscles will be bulky but not well defined.. if you work out from at home your restricted to lighter weights and tend to do more reps. he has a body to die for man. it's so well defined that it's like he has all the correct contours, unlike those who have chunks of meat here and there abeit huge ones.Originally posted by OPT:Bruce lee was 120lbs at best - not something I am looking for. He was lean - but he always was - even before he started martial arts.
In his time he achieved a lot and made a lot of martial artists realize that they should perform weight training. However you will see that a lot of his weight training was influenced by bodybuilding as that was the only information at the time.

NOOriginally posted by manyu882:endurance and strength training also makes muscle bulkier right?
correct me if wrong.. cos i read from donnoe which article that they say there are 2 types of muscles. one is endurance muscle.. like what athlete has on their legs. another type is strength muscle like what bodybuilder has. they say both training makes muscle stimulate, repair and thus become bigger.
it's a common belief that training with light weights with high reps makes you more lean, however light weights high reps only activate slow twitch muscles that has the least growth ability. High reps light weight sometimes will also activate muscle groups that are harder to hit and recruited with heavy weights low reps.Originally posted by siaokau:didn't i mention broader? the thing about going to the gym is tt you'll be tempted to try doing heavy weights and less reps... this way, your muscles will be bulky but not well defined.. if you work out from at home your restricted to lighter weights and tend to do more reps. he has a body to die for man. it's so well defined that it's like he has all the correct contours, unlike those who have chunks of meat here and there abeit huge ones.

Its the diet and cardio frequency cum intensity that causes you body to be lean.
heavy weights low reps activate fast twitch muscles that will cause growth in muscle, however training with heavy weights low reps can also give you a lean tone if trained correctly
