Ready to wear or custom made bowling shoes??

  Which do you prefer and why? Have yet to made up my mind so any comments or recommendations??

  Another thing to add is that when I mentioned custom made...it is that type that will convert a pair of ordinary shoes to bowling shoes. Anyone tried this before? Any comments?

  I guess what u mentioned is athletic style bowling shoe rite? To convert them to a pair of bowling shoes approx $80-$100...If u are keen PM me..i do have a contact of this uncle doing custom made bowling shoe, he does hand guide too..
  
  One of my team mate tried custom made his bowling shoe with interchangeable sole pads approx $30-$45 (3 types), so that the slide can match the style, and the surface of the lanes...
