I recently upgraded my ball to a Storm Paradigm Domination and because of the strong hook potential, I find that I no longer can use it to convert my spares.
So I decided to get a spare plastic ball but I feel that I spare conversion rate was much higher when I was using a low end reactive ball.
What do you guys think? Would you recommend that I continue to use a low end reactive ball as a spare ball? If so what would you recommend if I want to change and a new low end reactive ball (my first ball was an old Ebonite Savage). -
plastic for 10 pin reactive for everything else on normal medium-heavy oil conditions. plastic all the way for light oil

The correc practice is to use a polyester ball for spares. The reason is that they are very predictable, whereas low end reactive are still not that predictable. The higher spare you can get with your low end reactive is most likely becauseyou have not get used to and master sparing with polyester. Give it some time and you will see results.
But of cos, it stil voice down to self preference. I am just advising on what professionals will do usually -
personally i'm using plastic for spares. Not only Pin 10, but sometimes for single/together duo pins. It's simple to roll, it's consistent, and doesn't require too much concentration after you got used to it.
I remembered seeing Remy Ong vs asian guy a few months back in some tournament that I can't recall. He used a bright orange plastic ball for single pin spares. He was so good at his spares that he turns and walk back after his release before seeing the ball hits the pins. Even the commentator commented he is so bloody confident with spares.
