Which League do you bowl in?

haa, apple, talking abt Alex right? aiyah, i still think he better stick to spinning... his hook cannot make it. but i like the way he spins, got style, very relaxed. but using the same style for hook... lacks the aggressiveness... no impact, the ball does not carry, and spilts are often the end result...
today i bowled a 279 @ hougang superbowl... my highest so far. 279, then 151, then last game 191
but my opponent still managed to win me 3-1... tamade...

...by looking at your score seems u target hougang lane well...why your 2nd game 151? u got lots of 'S' istz? or miss Pin10 spare?...dun sad if cant contribute much points to the team but must be glad at your score...cheers!
ps: btw, this thread seems onli both of us replying each other...hehehe...no bowlers out there leh...

my opponent won the 2nd and 3rd game, and his overall overtook me by 7 pins in the end... with hadicap, my 3 game series was 645, i think his 3 game is 652, won me by 7 pins... i think for my 2nd game, the pressure is on for me to keep the scores, thus, i could not focus as well as the first game. guess, i forgot the basic of bowling... focus on the lanes and not on the opponent.
my opponent is a spinner and he's really good!
yah lor, the forum is quite quiet nowadays... missed the days when all my other kakis were ard, and we really had a good time making fun of each other in the forum. -

i guess sometimes leisure bowlers enjoyed themselves more than the more serious ones... how many times we came across newbies and leisure bowlers, that when they hit a strike or spare, they were so happy that they cheer and shout... then, you see the seasoned bowlers... mostly gloomy faces one...haa

jus like one of my team mate gv hi-5 to oponent when he spare then the person reply "no need gv when spare if like that we all will be veri busi returing u all back"....hehehe...as for me..if i hit spare i will still cheer, wana to ya ya abit...hahaha -

i also bowl league at safra Tamp.. i bowl wed, thurs and the new fri league at safra Tamp and i also bowl wed at NSRCC..
i think u guys got tok abt alex rite.. he is my team mate for wed and thurs league.. kian ann also.. haha..
my league average for wed 185 and thurs 188.. -

national masters? dun think so lah... the standard really very high. the biggest competition i went was for held last dec in Mt Faber, Telok Blanga Superbowl, i was bowling in the B graded and still cannot qualify Mental still needs more training.

hey apple, u going for the National Masters as well? Tampines safra, ur homeground leh! haa~ I will give it a miss as my exams are ard the corner, so think better dun diversify my attention.. good luck and best preparation for those who are challenging for the masters!
