ya....maybe for a start use lighter ball 1st, 15lb is very heavy....i got 1 team mate, she used to bowl spinner and very active in bowling...she got back problem is old injury, at times she took pain killer b4 she bowl league, doc had ask her to stop due to her injury, but she continue to bowl worsen her condition....now she cant bowl at all...
at least you are not kan-cheong... kan cheong type...once recover rush to bowl...hahaha -

the ones at the alleys.. the holes are way too small for my paws anyway.. only the fingertips and the tip of my thumb goes into the ball -

bear, maybe u can check yahoo auction for 2nd hand balls... but i think for the weight... maybe a bit difficult to look for anyway. why not drill a new ball? i think 10lbs plastic balls shld not be be too costly. -

maybe u wana try out kim seng the proshop owner, lennard...i understand at times, he got lobang for 2nd plastic ball...and if you talking abt novelty ball i think he does have also...cos he often import balls and accessories...you can give a try... -

haa, this is one of the rare good games from our team... our team got this '2nd bowler curse' - the 2nd bower always bowl badly... but last nite our 2nd bowler was on form, that's why we had a better nite.

the malay uncle that i bowled against last nite was a very consistant bowler. no frills, pick up spares easily. luckily he was betting for pin 10... maybe be more difficult if he's bowling seriously. -

my team is for the department league one.. go there to playplay and meet the rest of the people in the organisation.. more a weekly social thing

yah, spinner generally have only a few 'standard' target line to play, and the reaction of the ball will not have a drastic movement compared to that of a hook ball... but depends on the spinner too... i've got a team mate who, though is a spinner, but his ball backups... like a lefty hook, haa. -

ya..either good or bad game...sianz rite? at tampines also depends on which lanes that we bowl at...at lane my team mates always says that lane from 17-18 up to 23-24...very nice to bowl ...i guess probably when the machine comes to behind lanes...cant produce much oil out liao... thatwise not so oily...
u got 1 team mate from spinner convert to hook bowler recently...at times he also complain abt the lane condition...he lucky at least if cant hook, at least he knws how to spin the ball...
