Did anyone followed the bowling results of the Asian Games ?
Do you think Team Singapore did better than the last Asian Games in Pusan, Share your thouhgts?
How about the Step Ladder Finals between SGP vs Korea?
In you opinion, Did Remy lost the Gold or Won the Silver?
Overall i think team singapore did pretty well, with the gals winning the gold, which is a rare feat actually.
As for Remy, I think he did stand a really good chance to win the gold, esp when the korean guy actually missed a couple of his spares. But in the end it did voice down to luck as both of them are pretty on par with each other. On the 2nd game remy seem to not be able to find his line, so resulting in not many strikes, which is pretty critical esp when the korean guy is on a striking streak
Very well done indeed for Team Sg,
But as we looked back in the step ladders matches, in the 2/3 placing, RO did extremely well & we thought the gold is in the bag.
Toour surprised he changed his line from outside to inside, later we discovered that the 2/3 placing match were on short oil and 1/2 were on long oil.
What we do not understand is, at that level, why change line ? why not change a ball ? perhaps there are something we did not know.
Its a pity......really sayang, otherwise we would have overtaken our close neighbour on the medal tally table.
Overall, Team SG is superb this year on most of the "non-physical contacts" sports.
