wa, yours is too ideal man!! haha....i guess the simulation is a good idea, but as for the auto microchip thingy, i guess even if it is possible, you will lose all the fun and satisfaction of doing it perfectly by your own hands and ability isn't it??Originally posted by Spook:Errrr, did you say IDEAL?
OKie, it should have the state of the art computerised simulator, which it would analysed and show computerised report on types of balls and its possible results i could achieved, hopefully it can help me to achive my 1st 300, then the next and the next lah......
And if the equipments reccomendations failed for whatever reasons, it can have an optioned to implant an microchip in my arms, so that i can bowl automatically like the best bowls in the world and i can select type of style i preffered. just like a X-Box 0r Play Station.
Now that's what i call IDEAL.
Best of all is, its is only available to Singpore Bowling Forum Members only.
Then we'll conquer the World of Bowling.
ya, i agree with you. In fact i think it is good to do a complete analysis of the bowling style everytime you buy a new ball, for example using some computer programs to monitor current ball speed, rev, axis rotation etc, so that proper recommendations can be made. Just wonder why no pro shop does that in singapore...it improves the image of the pro shop and definitely bring more cutomers right??Originally posted by the Bear:it would be good if the shops had something of a system where they would take measurements of the hand, take into account the method of delivery, the grip, and all that, into a computerised system and come out with the optimal type of ball, the optimal weight and grip/drilling, and all that...
put some science into giving the bowler the best possible equipment instead of the guessing which is being done now.. that being said, the "guesswork" of some of the pro-shop owners are amazing!
describing what you do at the lanes to the pro-shop owner, is subjective and sometimes, miscommunication may result in the equipment being wrong for the bowler..
would be nice if there was a simulator to help get the perfect ball with the perfect grip huh?
