I particularly like this...
Molo Softwall Screen
The paper softwall is a beautiful, lightweight, freestanding wall that can be arranged into almost any shape, or easily compressed into a compact sheaf and stored away. softwall dampens sound and can both absorb and transmit light. The paper softwall is made from 400 layers of honeycombed translucent white, fire-retardant paper, bounded by natural wool felt ends. The thick felt ends fold to create handles when the wall is open, and form a casing when the wall is compressed. paper softwall is modular, as the felt ends have velcro fasteners which can link walls together. The paper softwall is delicate, yet its honeycomb design makes it surprisingly resilient to normal handling.
softwall can be opened by one person, although it is initially easier to open with two people. softwall moves best when it can glide on a smooth, clean, dry surface. When not in use, softwall can be stored away flat, or folded in half.
softwall is not designed to support weight, or to be altered. The paper softwall can be dusted, or lightly vacuumed with a brush handle, but should not be allowed to get wet. The paper body of softwall is treated with a fire retardant and will not maintain a flame on its own; nevertheless, the paper softwall should not be placed near an open flame or heat source. Should a tear in the paper ever occur, paper softwall can be mended to conceal and protect the affected area. softwall is also reversible, as it is identical on either side.
At 6 feet tall, above normal sight lines, this softwall can be used to literally transform a space by creating a dynamic partition, or sculptural backdrop. This softwall is 12" thick (30cm), and can be expanded from a mere 1.5" (3cm) to over 25' (7.5m). It is available in white paper with medium grey natural wool felt ends, and weighs just 17lbs (7.7kg).
