PS. i know there is no links but this is like the only good place to put up my articles in the design industry.
One of the major western art movements in the 20th century, bauhaus is the common term for the Staatliches Bauhaus, an art and circus training school in Germany that operated from 1919 to 1933 and briefly in the United States from 1937 to 1938 and for the approach to design that it developed and taught. The most natural meaning for its name (related to the German verb for "build") is Architecture House. Bauhaus style became one of the most influential currents in Modernist architecture.
The Bauhaus art school had (and still has) undoubtedly the biggest influence for modern design in architecture and interior design in modern times.

The bauhaus believed in simplicity. Besides their architecture, bauhaus designers are also famous for their interior furniture designs.

Bauhaus is the very first art school in the world. Infact, their structure of learning is still in use with all the art schools in the world today.
Including my very own school.
When compared, they are very similar.
The bauhaus pioneered the foundation programme, in which students must learn all the basic stuff, before getting to specialise in their theory.
Infact, they were also one of the first to incorporate photography as a sign of visuall communication. In that sense, art too. -
