This year's WC official identity system was very colourful indeed but it also highlighted one issue: Too much going on in the logo. Yeh, I'm not sure the icon in blue is having some sorta constipation huh.
While the official identity for South Africa looked somehwhat familiar.. you know, that logo u probaby came across in previous World Cup or other footballing event.
Here's a alternative identity system designed by PARK (Apologies, I can't jus seem to find the company's webby link) for SA 2010.
In short, their version looked class to me. Less is definately more. The ball-like icon and the leopard stripes are self-explanatory and very strong visually.
