  Do you own a Hi-MD player? MD units are dying in Singapore and it would be fun if all fellow MD users in Singapore come together. We will then be a force to be reckon with.
  
  Forget the hype of iPod. Low technology stuffs made with easily available DIY parts that can only last 2~5 years due to their unreplaceable batteries don't last.
  
  Minidisc users had been downloading music to their players years ago when iPod was nowhere to be seen.
  
  MD, its player, its media, its fan base, is forever.
  
  Since 1993.

  Go there and look at how active the forum is and how much people are viewing it.
  
  2004 saw the release of a new Hi-MD format, with new disc costing 12.50bucks each being able to store up to 1GB of music, while existing 74min MD discs can store up to 280MB of data.
  
  With beautiful MDs like this:

  and a large fan base who collects both the players and the nicely designed MD, who said it died out?
  
  Better still, look at the best Hi-MD model to date, one that comes with an integrated camera. Unfortunately, it isn't on sale in Singapore.
